ACEA is a professional body representing Commercial Energy Assessors and Energy Consultants across the UK. We are a Not-For-Profit organisation with aims and objectives geared towards environmental and quality standard goals.

The Association provides its members with professional and commercial support as well as representing the interests of our clients. Where you see the ACEA name and brand on an ACEA members marketing material, then you can be assured that our members adhere to a strict code of conduct and an exceptionally high standard of delivery.

The Association furthers the advancement of energy assessment and its practice in a number of ways:

  • ACEA has drawn up its own Code of Conduct, and good practice operational requirements
  • We publish a Directory - on this website - categorising member services and specialist skills
  • We organise conferences, seminars and exhibitions for members
  • It comments on consultative papers from Government, and discusses issues of importance to its members with Government and national bodies
  • It lobbies the Industry, Parliament and other professional bodies
  • We provide an advanced and simplified Recommendations Energy Report for the end user of our members services

Further, we aim to assist clients, local authority departments, researchers, the public and other enquirers wishing to access information about the existing and evolving energy assessment business.

In dialogue with Government both at a national and European level, we aim to make a positive contribution to the effective advancement of our industry.
